Perfect Match: Blogs & Business

I came across an interesting web site yesterday called Business 2 Blogger. The purpose of the web site is to link businesses looking to promote their products with bloggers who would be prepared to blog about them.

I have had my curiosity tapped just enough to look to find out more because the ethics of promoting products for reward or just because it reflects your actual experience are two distinctly different things. Even here on Egg Splatter you can find out why we like the businesses and people that we do. Yes, anyone that has offered product or service for comments has been listed.

I wonder how honest other bloggers are and how savvy their readership is on picking up on Cash4Comments versus a real opinion. I guess it would be a spectrum of awareness. Curiosity makes me wish I was still affiliated with a University so that we could measure this.

As for Business 2 Blogger, they do have a page about 'the spirit' of being part of their matrix. It covers the basic principles that they expect both businesses and bloggers to follow. It has been an interesting approach for sure.
